Live simply.
Design boldly.

About

Ryan has traveled extensively through 72 countries and overseas territories across four continents taking in, firsthand, the various ways in which history, culture, and societal values are expressed through the built environment.

He is an experienced Senior Design Architect with a demonstrated history of working both nationally and internationally in the architecture & planning industry.  He has experience in projects ranging in scale from furniture design to master planning, and in environments from complex urban infill and adaptive reuse to off-grid buildings in remote settings where nature plays a defining role.

The breadth of experience designing in unique natural settings has shaped an understanding of the importance of biophilia and taking cues from natural systems as a way to inform architecture.  This has led to a special interest in engineered wood and mass timber construction as a way to harmoniously bridge the gap between the built and natural environments.
